Our orthotics (orthoses) are custom made using both modern and traditional methods. Using a variety of materials, the orthotics are designed to meet the specific needs of the individual clients, their feet and their foot problems.

Custom orthopaedic footwear is prescribed and manufactured for clients whose foot shape and foot problems are too complex for prefabricated footwear options. Detailed assessment and measurements are essential to produce footwear which fits and functions optimally. We offer a rainbow of colours and a variety of styles.

We perform shoe modifications to enhance fit and function of prefabricated footwear. Such modifications include shoe raises, buttresses, flares, upper modifications, skid plates, rocker soles, velcro strap conversions and more.

Our Team
At Foot Finesse, our mission is to provide high-quality healthcare services to our patients. We strive to make our patients feel comfortable and cared for during every visit.
Anna
Anna trained and worked as an orthopaedic shoemaker in Germany before moving to Australia to make orthopaedic footwear and experience the lifestyle. She completed the Australian Bachelor of Pedorthics in 2023 and has been enjoying designing footwear and orthotic solutions for clients in the Northern Rivers since.
Adam
Adam is a qualified and registered Podiatrist and Pedorthist (Custom Maker). He has practised Podiatry in both Australia and Singapore. Adam completed his Bachelor of Pedorthics in 2018, and has since focused his career on the challenge of Pedorthic footwear.
What to Expect...
At our consultations, we will discuss your needs, conduct a gait assessment, take measurements, discuss your treatment plan and counsel on funding options. We may perform 3D scanning or plaster casting of the feet, trial fittings and computerised in-shoe pressure assessments.
